Meteolien Experts Energies Renouvelables

Both based in Toulouse, Météo-France and MetEOlien (named Equitao in those times) worked together since June 2007 in developping countries that did not have sufficient data of wind history. They created a study atlas for wind power applications and also worked in France to provide quick counter-validations of production yields in wind farms using advanced downscaling methods.

In 2009 a partnership started to develop studies for the small wind turbines sector

In 2015 MetEOlien and Météo-France worked together on a precise wind atlas for metropolitan France, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Nouvelle Calédonie, produced for the ADEME.
