Meteolien ScopARL is an independent consulting engineering office dedicated to wind energy.
Meteolien was created in 2005 with the willingness of developing wind farms in emerging countries. After having developed, with Meteo-France, an innovative methodology to assess and to model wind energy for countries that do not have enough historical weather data, Meteolien then decided to apply this technology to European countries including particularly France.
In 2015, Meteolien lead the mission, for the ADEME (Agency for Environment and Mastering of Energy), of creating the first atlas of wind energy in France, fully free and available online : Le windatlas.
Finally, in 2016, with its successful methodology of downscaling and its expertise using meteorological models, Meteolien comercialised the Prodeole software, allowing its clients to rapidly simulate, in every point of France, the hourly wind energy profile of any windfarm, real or virtual.
Today the team deploys its expertise in wind studies and production assessment, as well as electrical engineering and has also broadened its portfolio to include global services of feasibility studies and technical due diligence, to offer its clients a fuller turnkey service.
We can count on 4 specialised engineers and we regularly welcome, for training and R&D, engineering students that are interested in renewable energy, especially as their generation will have to bring the solutions to the shortage of ressources our way of life, past and current, has engendered on our planet.
Meanwhile building close partnerships with international or local independent experts and engineering offices, MetEOlien continues its steady growth, sharing its vision of a professional and ethical approach and affirming its scientific and innovative direction.
We put at your disposal:
