The objective of the project : Conducting a study on the successes and pitfalls of wind projects built in public-private partnerships in Sub-Saharan Africa for the AFD in the frame of the renewable energies cooperation program of the EU (RECP).

- Analysis of existing frameworks for the electricity sector, energy mix, renewable policies and economics in Africa
- Technical and economic analysis
- Analysis of policies and of regulatory frameworks
- Organization of the AFD seminar to share and discuss the conclusions of the study with all main stakeholders of Wind Energy in Sub-Saharan African countries
- Writing of the evaluation report, of the conclusions and of the consequences for future wind projects in Africa
- Organizing and giving training sessions both in French and English for team members and partners involved in operation and planning in local agencies including KPLC, KENGEN and MoEP
